I am sure some who read these blogs of mine say, "Oh, come on now! You are over reacting. It can't be as bad as you think. You are too pessimistic!"
I certainly hope so. I would like nothing better than to be proven wrong. However, I am an observer of history. For most of my life I have wondered and marveled that the people of Germany, Italy, Russia, Cuba, and other countries could be so misguided as to allow the kind of despots such as Hitler take control of their nations, and literally destroy them.
So I have read and studied everything I could get my hands on trying to see where the people of those countries failed to recognize where these smooth talking snake oil salesmen were taking them. I am sorry to say, I see the same signs and blindness to the obvious here in America at this time in our history. Most people do not see this, mostly because like the people of Europe in the 1930s, they did not want to see what was happening. The mentality then as now was bury your head in the sand and pretend it is all going to be OK.

I think you are right Ron... People don't want to see the truth. Everything is there for people to see. Lies. Corruption. Fraud. Communism. Socialism.

I also agree, but there is still hope. I know many people who can see through the lies and propaganda of the MSM and the rest of the left. Look how well Fox News is doing. Look how dismal the MSM News programs are doing in viewership, and how many Newspapers are in financial ruin. The fact is that most of Americans are not inclined to Socialism or Communism, and they can see the Oz pulling the levers behind the curtain. But what the truth needs besides those who recognize the smoke and mirror routine by those who would communize America, is Leadership. I can see that Leadership in Governor Palin, and Governor Jindal among others. In times of crisis leaders emerge and we will not let America fail.
