In a previous message on November 5Th I mentioned several ways the radical left that now controls the Democrat Party and soon the nation will consolidate political power to insure they will be in total control of the political landscape from now on. One party rule is what it is called.
I just realized another way the Democrats will insure permanent control over this nation. Comrade Obama and his party will soon grant amnesty and US citizenship to millions of illegal aliens living in this country. These will all be Democrat voters, further cementing that party's power for the remainder of this nations existence. There is no one to stop them now. Not the Republicans, they might as well just stay home for all the good they can do. Not the media, that arm of the Democrat Party is totally on board. Not the people, there are too many stupid voters that will go along with this one party rule as a great solution to all the problems caused by the party they just voted into permanent one party power.

Ignorance

For years now I have watched man on the street interviews and been absolutely appalled at the ignorance of the average America concerning their government, history, and heritage. Most have no idea of the structure of our government, who is who, and much less what they stand for. This last election demonstrates this in spades.
In a recent civic-literacy survey conducted by the Intercollegiate Study Institute fully 71% of the 2500 respondents who took the test flunked! The average score was 49 out of a possible 100. A solid "F". Just 2.6% got a "B", only 0.8% got an "A". And these are the people that vote! Is it any wonder that this country is in the mess it is?
What is even more disgusting is that those respondents that identified themselves as elected oficials did even worse than the average citizen, scoring an average 44%. This is indeed the blind leading the blind.
Only 21% could identify Lincoln's Gettysburg Address as the source of the words "Government of the people, by the people, and for the People. 56%, however, knew Paula Abdul was a judge on American Idol.

Betrayal
The following is from an editorial by Dick Morris, former political advisor to Bill Clinton. He is no fan of Comrade Obama, but not very happy with President Bush either. A week or so ago the industrial nations had a G-20 summit meeting at which time Bush betrayed this nation. Dick Morris:
"The results of the G-20 economic summit amount to nothing less than the seamless intergration of the United States into the European economy. In one month of legislation and one dipolmatic meeting, the United States has unilaterally abdicated all the gains for the concept for free markets won by the Reagan Administration and surrendered, in toto, to the Western European model of socialism, stagnation, and excessive government regulation. Sovereignty is out the window. Without a vote, we are suddenly members of the European Union. Given the dismal record of those nations at creating jobs and sustaining growth, merger with the Europeans is like a partner hip with death."
At this meeting Bush agreed to subject our Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and our other regulatory agencies to the supervision of a global entity that would critique our regulatory standards and demand changes if they felt it necessary. I have already mentioned the United Nations treaty that would hand over regulation of small arms to that organization. There are two other international treaties floating around out there that Obama and the radical left that now controls this country will sign onto. One, of course, is the Kyoto Treaty which supposedly regulates emmissions from industial nations. This treaty will further hamstring American industry. China, India, and third world nations are, of course, exempt. The third treaty gives the UN jurisdiction over international shipping and other aspects of navigation on the high seas.
This is all part of the George Sorros plan for one world government under the United Nations. America will cease to exist as a sovereign nation as we have always known it within a decade. It was great while it lasted.

Guess what?
I see on the news today that the Democrats are anxious to "Investigate" the Bush Administration as soon as Comrade Obama takes office. It figures. The Dems know full well that the Bush Administration has committed no crimes. So why would they bother?
Quite simple. First and foremost it is an intimidation move. To intimidate any Republicans that might want to challenge the Dems in the future. Secondly, they want to instill in the public mind that the Republicans are corrupt. Never mind that the Democrats are the most corrupt political entity in memory. And with the media an arm of their party, they will be able to pull the wool over an ignorant publics' eyes.

Guns and more guns
According to my sources there has been a run on gun shops in this country because of the fear that the new leftist government coming into play will make it more difficult and expensive to purchase firearms in the near future. Probably very true, as Comrade Obama has indicated support for a 500% tax on firearms and ammo, plus outlawing certain types, such as hand guns and "sniper rifles", (The average scoped hunting rifle falls within this description), and the re-enactment of the Clinton "assault weapons" ban. (Ignoring the fact that any weapon used to attack another is an assault weapon, from hands to knives to ball bats, you name it That ban was imposed on weapons strictly by their appearence. They looked evil. Most of the people of this country are gun ignorant, so they don't know the difference).
Don't be fooled by the recent Supreme Court decision upholding, by one vote, the right of the individual to own firearms. This decision says we can own guns. Nothing was said about restrictions by the government on that ownership and the use of those firearms, or about registration, you get the picture. Additionally, you can be dead sure Comrade Obama will appoint judges to the federal bench that share his anti-second amendment views. He will also appoint directors and other key positions in the various government agencies that can make life very bad for gun owners. Who will stop him?

But the lie is out there and the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party known as the Mainstream Media will run with it until an ignorant people believe it is true. The Fat Lady Has Sang
Nobody has any idea how badly I want to be wrong on what I say here. Unfortunately, history indicates otherwise.
During the Cold War one of the Soviet Union leaders expressed the opinion that America would destroy itself from within. Karl Marx in his Communist Manifesto made the comment that all free societies destroy themselves from within. In a fit of abject stupidity the American People have done exactly that, what no other power has ever been able to do. Destroy America. The really sad part is that the American People have no clue concerning the ramifications of what they have done. History shows what comes next.
Although very few people realize it, America has voted to replace a government that rules by the consent of the people with a government that will rule by the select. This new Marxist government will shortly control both the Executive Branch and the Legislative Branch, the latter by an unstoppable majority. These new rulers will shortly load the third branch of government, the Federal Judiciary, with radical leftists. That will consolidate all power in one political party. Radical leftists like Howard Dean and other Democrat leaders have already been stating that they will now be in a position to guarantee permanent power for their party. That is one party rule, no matter how you slice it. They will further consolidate their political power so that no other political party will ever again be able to seriously challenge them. This will be done in several ways.
First, this new government will silence all opposing political discourse such as Conservative Talk Radio with a farce called "The Fairness Doctrine", and what few other sources of opposing discourse may be out there, such as blogs like this. By appointing other Marxists such as William Ayers (Not necessarily him) to key government positions such as the IRS, ATF, FBI, Homeland Security, Etc, this new ruling party will be able to intimidate Internet sites and any other informational outlet into silence. The only news and views available will be that these rulers deem worthy. How can that be? That would violate First Amendment protection of free expression and speech. These new rulers could not care less. These are the same people that have been violating Second Amendment freedoms for decades. Fact is, they oppose all freedoms as freedoms limit their quest for absolute power. That is the only thing that matters to these scum balls.
Second, Obama will appoint leftist judges to the federal benches. This will assure that any challenges made by any opposition will be nipped in the bud.
Third, the new government will disarm all Americans. This is always one of the first things totalitarian governments do to secure their power. How can this be? The Supreme Court, by one vote, recently upheld the right of individual Americans to own firearms. Quite simple. In the United Nations is a treaty pending that would give the UN control over all small arms in any country that signs on to that treaty. This treaty is parsed in such a way as to deliberatetly make an end run around our Second Amendment. It would no longer apply. Obama will sign on to that treaty and the left wing controlled Senate will ratify it.
There are a lot of other things they can do to permanently secure power. Make no mistake about it, they will be working intently to assure the next congressional election in two years will further advance their majority in Congress and the Senate. And even if there is another Presidential election in 4 years, it will be only window dressing to make the American People think the Constitution is still in effect. Be assured that any potential threat to their continued power will be eliminated by whatever means needed. Bright stars like Governors Palin and Jindal will be destroyed in some way before they can become a threat.
Who is to stop these new rulers? Not the Republicans. They will never again have the political power to shape things. They are now irrelavent, for all practical purposes thay might as well pack up and go home. Not the courts, they will soon be part of the one party system. Not the Media. The Media is, for the most part, an arm of the Democrat Party. Not the people. They have already proven they are too stupid to see the handwriting on the wall, and besides, they will soon only get one point of view, the point of view our new masters deem fitting.
Many readers will disregard this message as too radical, it can never happen in America. It can happen in America because it is no longer the America it used to be. It has a different kind of people now. A people that has come to believe government is the answer to problems instead of the cause of most problems. A people that as the Israelites did in 2nd Samual 8 demand a "King" to lead them. A people that has discovered they can feed at the public trough. Had we had this kind of people in WW II we would be speaking German.

Galling
Today is the day, according to the polls, that America chooses to make the final turn from a government that rules with the consent of the people to a government that rules the people. And most Americans do not have a clue about what that means. They have totally lost their sense of history and heritage.
The Democrats and their media propaganda division have succeeded in convincing the American People that it is George Bush and Republican economic policies that has led to the current economic mess. In fact, it is the fault of Democrat controlled congresses dating back to the late 1970s that has led to this. It is particular galling that the American People are evidently going elect more Democrats to the most anti-freedom, anti-business Congress in history. They are going to keep in office and elect more of the same kind of bozos that caused this mess to office, and the people expect these miscreants to fix things. The definition of insanity is doing more of the same and expecting a different result. America has gone insane.

world War Three?
Joe Biden is probably correct in that Obama will be tested by an international crisis within 6 months. There are several scenarios possible.
For one thing, Muslims sense that Obama, if not one of them, is sympathetic to their cause. Why wouldn't they, he has surrounded himself with anti-Semitic friends like Louis Farakan and the Reverent Wright. He has an Islamic name. I suspect there will be dancing in the streets of Islamic nations on Wednesday.
It is very possible that Iran and or Syria will seize the opportunity to attack Israel. Will Obama defend Israel? I doubt it. And Israel probably knows that. Therefore, it is possible that Israel will make a preemptive strike. This could very well lead to the next World War. Actually, their are some that say World War Three is already started, has been with Islamic terrorism and the reactions against it. Israel could us nuclear weapons in desperation to survive. What does Russia do? China and North Korea? It could get very messy very quickly. And we will have a Commander in Chief that has no clue about the world at best, and is probably in bed with Islam at worst.

Storm Troopers?
I just learned that Obama has proposed a "National Security Force" to combat terrorism. A domestic para military force, if you will, a national police force. Equally equipped and equally funded to the military. Isn't that what Hitler's SS was? Here, in America? Could be if this Marxist is elected. What a great way to crush dissent. New Leaders
A couple of comments have been to the effect that the American People will not let America fail. That new leadership will step in and save her. Sounds nice, Governors Palin and Jindal are certainly bright lights on the horizon. Problem is, with a Marxist in the White House and his party controlling both houses of Congress with super majorities, and the ability to load the courts with Marxists, there is no way the American people would be able to regain control of their government. The Marxists will not allow it. They would be able to crush all dissent with the fairness doctrine, control of the internet, and threats of license revocation for any broadcast company that dared to question their motives. Laws could be passed that brand any disagreement with the powers that be as divisive or hate speech. With control of the courts, they will be able to get away with it. The bottom line is the Bill or Rights will be null and void. Potential leaders like Palin and Jindal will be destroyed by whatever means required.
Democrats like John Dean are already talking about a position of permanent majority for the Democrat Party. Translation: One party rule from now on. And where there is one party rule, there is no way any opposition can be mounted. New leaders can not rise to the top.
In short, if the American People vote next Tuesday to surrender their authority over the government, and that is just exactly what the election of Obama will mean, they will never be able to regain that authority.

New Masters
The wise, divinely inspired men that framed our Constitution gave us a new concept of government. A government of the people, by the people, and for the people. A government where the people have the supreme power and are the masters of their government. A government that rules at the consent of the people. One week from today, it appears that the American people will give their consent to change to a government that is the master of the people. A government that will control the masses, not be controlled by the masses. America has been headed this direction for some time now. This coming election may very well be the final nail in the coffin. Mark November 4, 2008 as the day America committed suicide. My view is that if the people of this nation are so cavalier about their liberty as to vote it away for a master/subject type of country, they do not deserve the liberty they surrender.

Come on now!
I am sure some who read these blogs of mine say, "Oh, come on now! You are over reacting. It can't be as bad as you think. You are too pessimistic!"
I certainly hope so. I would like nothing better than to be proven wrong. However, I am an observer of history. For most of my life I have wondered and marveled that the people of Germany, Italy, Russia, Cuba, and other countries could be so misguided as to allow the kind of despots such as Hitler take control of their nations, and literally destroy them.
So I have read and studied everything I could get my hands on trying to see where the people of those countries failed to recognize where these smooth talking snake oil salesmen were taking them. I am sorry to say, I see the same signs and blindness to the obvious here in America at this time in our history. Most people do not see this, mostly because like the people of Europe in the 1930s, they did not want to see what was happening. The mentality then as now was bury your head in the sand and pretend it is all going to be OK.

Character Assaination
It is startling how the radical left in this country will stoop to anything to discredit and destroy anyone that might be opposed to what the left stands for. Contrary to the left's claim to be the bastion of compasion and caring, anyone that disagrees with their agenda is marked for destruction, even members of their own party. Look at the hatchet job they did on Joe Lieberman, their 2000 Vice President nominee. Just because the Senator dared to stand for something the radical left opposess, they destroyed him in his state's Democrat Primary election in 2006. Lieberman had to run as an independent. Never mind that his voting record is about 98% left wing, he would not accept American surrender in Iraq, so he had to be destroyed. Although I do not support Lieberman on much of anything, I am glad he was able to win re-election in spite of his party's efforts.

Republicans and Democrats
I first registered as a Democrat at the time of JFK. Somewhere during the LBJ administration, however, I noticed something. I discovered that I did not share the same view of liberty that party did. I noticed the Democrats stood for big powerful government, high taxes, and worse of all, gun control. That is the red flag that alienated me. It was not so much about guns as it was about the sanctity of the Constitution itself. Where in the Constitution and Bill of Rights, or the Federalist Papers was anything said about one part of the above documents being more or less important than others? Second Amendment detractors would say things like "The Constitution is a living , breathing, evolving document that is subject to change with the times, and the times dictate doing away with private ownership of firearms." Excuse me? Where does it say that in the Constitution?
It does not say any such thing. Furthermore, if that were indeed the case, why was a stringent method of amending the Constitution spelled out if it were supposed to evolve? Amendments have to originate in Congress, or by Constitutional Convention (Which is how the Constitution and Bill of Rights originated) and then must be ratified by the legislatures of two thirds of the individual states.
For the most part these anti gun proposals were and are sponsored by Democrats. And some Republicans. Mostly Democrats, however. I use this issue as a litmus test of the true mindset of any politician concerning his or her dedication to the Constitution they all take an oath to uphold. Obviously, far too many, mostly Democrats, take that oath with the fingers of their left hand crossed behind their back.
The Democratic Party used to be the party of the average citizen. However, somewhere along the line over a period of time the radical left took control of the Democrat party, especially at the national level. It is now the party of big government socialism. During this same time period, the radical left also took control of most of the media and nearly all of academia. The government grew bigger and more uncontrolable. More and more regulations and taxes that stiffle free enterprise and individual liberty. Has anyone stopped to think why the left wants this omnipotent government we now have?
It is really pretty simple. The bigger government it, the less power the people have as individuals. The less power they have, the more dependent on government the people become. The more dependent the people become, the more power and job security the politicians have. Same with taxes. The more money the politicians take from you, the less power you have and the more dependent on government you become. Also, there is more money for politicians to buy votes with various government programs. It is a vicious circle, one that has passed the point of no return.
Now for the Republicans. For most of my life time the Democrats have controlled Congress with an occassional exception here and their where the GOP had a slim majority in either the Senate or the House. Not until 1994, however, did the GOP gain workable majorities in both houses of Congress. Wonderful, I thought. Now maybe we can get this country headed back toward the limits the Constitution is supposed to have over the central government. Sadly, the Republicans turned out to be a bunch of incompetent, spineless boobs. Government has continued to grow and become even more unwieldy. Starting with the 1996 elections the GOP started to loose its majority until 2006 when they lost it all together. Now the radical left has majority rule in both houses. With Obama at the helm, they will waste no time in consolidating their power so that they never again loose it. We will in effect have a one party political system because the radical left will make sure no dissenting political entity will ever threaten their power in any future elections.
One other thing of hypocritical note here. The past few years the Democrats have been incensed over deficit spending. All of a sudden!. I remember from the time I was old enough to notice that Democrat controlled Congresses voted each year to raise the national debt limit. Year after year. For some reason, they were not concerned about deficit spending until recently. Wonder why that is? Because it is something they can blame the opposition for. Plane and simple!!

A Nation of Fools
"Birds of a feather flock together". We have all heard that old saying. Our parents or others told most of us that we are who we associate with.
Yet, we are supposed to take Barac Obama's word for it when he tells us that he spent 20 years in a church pastored by a radical hate monger and did not know of this pastor's radical views. We are supposed to take his word for it when he says Bill Ayers is "Just a guy in the neighborhood that he barely knows. If that is true, why was Obama's campaign for the Illinois Senate kicked off in the Ayers' home? Why did Obama write an endorsement for Ayer's book?
Let's take a closer look at Mr. Ayers and his radical left wing wife, Doran. They were both leaders of the Weather Underground, a 1960s communist hate group with the serious intent to overthrow the US Government. They set off several bombs that killed some innocent people. By all that is right, Mr. Aryers and his wife should be in prison. They got off on some sort of technicality. Ayers has admitted publicly, in recent years, that he is an Anarchist and a Marxist
During this time a FBI informant was able to infiltrate this organization. What he tells about the Weather Underground is very chilling. According to this man, this domestic terrorist group intended for the violent overthrow of the US Government. After being successful in that, their next focus was to be crushing any counter revolution. Gun control, anyone? The next step was to put all Americans that were not in on the overthrow in "Re-education Camps" located in the Southwestern states. Another two words for such camps are "Gulag" and "Concentration Camps. Anyone that could not be re-educated was to be eliminated, as in killed. The leaders of this group, like Ayers, estimated that could be as many as 25 million Americans. This is the kind of people Obama hangs with.
Before Ayers, Obama's mentor in college was a member of the American Communist Party. In his book, Obama names this man as a mentor. A Mentor always influences the way someone looks at the world.
Now a nation of fools is primed to put this Marxist in the White House. When he is installed there, all three branches of the Federal Government will be in the control of the radical left, of Marxists. The Congress already is, at least the leadership is. The Federal Courts will soon follow suit by Obama appointments. Academia is already far left. For the most part, the national media is radical left, and those elements that are not will soon be eliminated by the "Fairness Doctrine" or outright intimidation by various federal agencies under Obama control.
Let's look at that for just a moment. As President, Obama will be able to put handpicked Marxists of his ilk in key positions in the bureaucracy. In short, Ladies and Gentlemen, the US Government will be completely in the hands of the radical left, never to be retrieved.
Many will say, "Well if that were really true, it can be fixed with the next election". No, it can't. For two very obvious reasons. Right now the Congress is lower in the polls than even George Bush. But at least 90% of the current members of Congress will be re-elected in less than two weeks. The second reason is that with total control over the information available to the American People, only the news and views of our masters in government will be allowed.
Many will also say I am fear mongering, that it could never happen in America. If you believe that, I have some beachfront property in North Dakota for sale, complete with a thatched hut. Nobody that lives in any country taken over by the far left or any other form of totalitarian government believed it could happen to their country. But it did. Hitler, Mussolini, Lenin, Stalin, Castro, Sadam Hussein all sounded so wonderful, so full of hope for the masses, so caring. And millions died as a result.
It can, and will happen here because it is obvious, from the national polls, that at least half of the American People are fool enough to elect a smooth talking Marxist to the most important position in the world. With that kind of mentality in place in this country, there is little hope for the future of America.

The end of America
It is with a great deal of anguish that I watch America destroy itself from within. According to the polls, America is about to place a radical left wing extremist in the White House. Since the radical left already controls, and will add to that control, the Congress, it is a given conclusion that the third branch of the Federal Government will also soon be controlled by the radical left. The Supreme Court! Additionally, the radical left already controls most of the sources of information in this country, and academia. With this scenario, it does not take much of a stretch to see that it will not be long before this Marxist mentality will consolidate its power further by censuring any source of information they do not want their subjects to see and hear. That is what Marxists do. The so called "Fairness Doctrine" will be used to silence conservative talk radio. Obama and company will have the ability to use the full intimidation of various federal agencies to intimidate other sources of information they do not want heard. Who is to stop them? Not Congress, that is already controlled by the extreme left. Not the Supreme Court. All Obama has to do is place one of his radical left wingers on the bench. His Senate will ram such a nominee right through with some phony show of a debate. Who will stop them? Not the Republicans. The new regime will consolidate power very quickly and render any opposing political party impotent.
What is really sad is that the American people as so ignorant of their heritage and what is actually at stake they are willing to vote this abomination into power. They are oblivious to the radical left associations of Obama, don't want to hear about them, and think this flim flam man will solve all their problems from financial melt down, for the most part caused by the very political party they expect to fix it. They expect him to end an unpopular war in Iraq. A war made unpopular by the radical left in a divide and conquer move started just a few short months after 9-11. The American People are too naive to understand that if we do not fight these Islamic barbarians over there, we will fight them here on our streets.
For a short time after 9-11 we were an united people. Then a funny thing happened. The Democrats. (read radical left) realized that Bush was serious about going after these barbarians. That would never do. If Bush was successful, it would make him and his party look good. That could not be tolerated as that would delay return to power of the Democrat Party. (Notice I do not refer to it as the Democratic Party. There is nothing democratic about this party.) The rightful party of power. Contrary to what they say, they are not one bit concerned about our sons and daughters in harms way. NOTHING trumps political power for these people. That is the first and foremost concern of these miscreants.
Ben Franklin once said that the American People will get the kind of government they deserve. That is exactly what is about to happen. And sadly, it will mean the end of America as a beacon of liberty in an increasingly hostile power mad world.
